Ann-Marie Hosang-Archer – Founder and CEO of LVH companies
Ann-Marie Hosang Archer is a healthcare business executive with more than three decades of experience advancing strategic growth, ethical leadership, and access to quality medicines across emerging markets. A people-centred leader, she has shaped the pharmaceutical and healthcare landscape across Central America, the Caribbean, Brazil, and Sub-Saharan Africa, earning a reputation for strategic vision, integrity, and commitment to developing people.
A former Chief Executive Officer of Eli Lilly for Sub-Saharan Africa, Ann-Marie is the Founder and CEO of Lignum Vitae Health (LVH), where she leads initiatives focused on licensing, registration, and market access for innovator and generic medicines, with particular emphasis on women’s health.
She is also the founder of the “It’s About You Foundation,” created from her conviction that women deserve not only access to care but also the knowledge, confidence, and agency to make informed decisions about their health and lives. Through education, leadership development, screening initiatives, and advocacy, the foundation promotes women’s wellness and empowerment — grounded in her belief that Women + Health = Wealth.
Ann-Marie holds a BSc from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, and with many leadership development courses, recently completed a purpose-linked course on Women’s Health and Human Rights.
Her work centres on two interconnected priorities: expanding access to quality medicines and advancing women’s health, leadership, and agency.
Ann-Marie’s personal philosophy:
I believe that when we have healthier more equitable organisations and communities, we will create stronger and more prosperous societies.
